An Egyptian Vulture mid-preen at the Hawk Conservancy. I think he/she was a little spooked by the camera as they'd stare at the lens between short bouts of preening, before finally retreating to an alternative perch. (I was taking my time fiddling with camera settings to try and avoid bleeching the back feathers to see what worked and what didn't.)
Reminds me of my own bird. No matter how much I try to hide the camera from sight or keep it quiet as I turn it on my bird is always immediately spooked. As soon as he sees it there is no way to get a nice picture of him. *sighs*
